MobileMe Subscription Question?
If i were to buy a 1 year MobileMe subscription, or what ever its called, and make a make a web-site with it, when my one year subscription is over, will my web-site "go-away" until i renew my subscription or will it stay on the web?|||You will need to renew it once your subscription is expired.
How do I make a website with mobileme?
I have a mobile me subscription. So how do I make a website with that and iWeb? I don't have a domain name, so can I make one with MobileMe or do I have to like buy one?
Basically what I'm asking is, can I make a website without paying anything other than the MobileMe subscription and if so how?

Making your own website or blog is easy. Just buy a domain name and design the site through a service or pay someone $500-$20,000 to do it for you. BUT the website will be a dismal failure because you do not know enough about the other 3 more important charactoristics of successful websites: Content, Preselling, and Free Traffic.
There is so much more to it than the 3 imply. If your content is not what the human visitors or search engines are looking for your content will never be read or found! You need in demand but in short supply keyword focused content to compete on the vast web.
Preselling is your writing syle and content design. Give the web surfers a reason to believe you. Be sincere, have your own syle, be knowledgable, be professional, and last but not least make your words intrigueing or fun. What this boils down to is to make ORIGINAL and useful content. Copying from other websites or repeating the same content other sites have posted will get you no where with the humans or the search engine bots.
If you really want to have a good blog that people acutally will see and visit I recommend you read the source I found below. I read this about 5 months ago and went with the service. I'm getting over 50 visitors a day and making about $200 a week!! In only 5 months.

I have videos on Apple mobileme but can't get them to full screen viewing. Help, please.?
At present all my videos are saved from imovie as large or medium movies but I can only view them at the default size, despite clicking the double arrow icon. Is there any software to show the videos in full screen size?|||Try this

Why do I need mobileme?
I purchased the Mobileme family software when I picked up my iPhone 4. I haven't set it up yet and I'm still trying to figure out why I need it. What does it do that's so great?|||Most people really dont need it.

MobileMe public folder question?
Someone I know posts a link to their public MobileMe folder on a social networking site. The folder is unprotected so anyone can go on and download the really cool songs on this folder. I have a question about this: does the person know who downloads things? Or is it anonymous? And last of all, is it safe to download from the public folder?
Thanks so much.|||From what i know about MobileMe %26amp; the Public Folder file system, it is anonymous. If the folder does not require a user to login, there is no tracking.
Also, the process is secure, but that assumes that the files IN the folder aren't spyware, malicious files, etc.

Is the MobileMe worth setting up on the iPhone?
YES! I have MobileMe and I love it. The email is instant, the website to manage your stuff is awesome. You can upload photos and videos directly to your MobileMe page from the iPhone.
Plus, you have the "FindMyiPhone" feature which will show you the location of your phone if it's lost or stolen.

Do I have to renew my MobileMe account to keep my @mac.com email address?
I have a Mac email address (xxxxxxxx@mac.com), which I got when I first bought my Macbook. To renew my account, I have to pay $100 again for another year.
Is there any way to keep the @mac.com email address without renewing your subscription? What will happen if I don't renew it? Will I just have an @me.com address?

I love the MobleMe service! At $100/yr that's only $8.33 a month or $0.27 a day. Not very much when you break it down! Plus you have online storage space - if you don't already, I recommend you download CarbonCopyCloner: it's a free program that lets you back up your entire computer to a single bootable file. That way you can upload the CCC file to your MobleMe account and if anything ever happens to your MacBook you have a complete backup of everything on your computer.
Also, you can upload things like pictures and videos to a password-protected album on MobleMe and then give the PW to people you want to be able to view and/or download that stuff. I use that to share pictures and video of my daughter with our family on the other side of the country (but I only have pics of her in those folders and my fam can't get into the rest of my albums).
Totally worth the yearly fee!
