Cannot connect my ipod touch to mobileme account?

I already installed it with my iphone but now i try it with my ipod touch and it says "The internet conncection appears to be offline"???? Why would they say it the mobile me account works for it too if i can't even connect it to it! HELP!|||make sure that you have them both under the same apple account
