Can I use find my iPhone without a MobileMe subscription?

I heard that you can use it without MobileMe. I don't want to pay 99$ for something I won't use much so i would like to use the app without the subscription. Thanks|||you do not need to pay $99 for Find my Iphone all you have to do is make a Mobile me which is very simple, and free. all you have to do is verify it but using your itunes account for your Mobile me. i set it up for my ipod and friends iphone and it worked just fine. i hoped i helped! :)|||YES
