Restored iPhone as a new phone, but I have mobileme. Can I get my text message conversations back?

I recently had a lot of problems with the newest iPhone update. After spending lots of time on Apple Support, my only option was to restore my phone as a new phone. I have mobileme, so I do still have all of my contacts but I can't figure out how to get my past text message conversations back. Does anyone know if this is possible?|||Sometimes if I delete a text message thread, if we re-text each other the option to see previous text messages appears at the top of the conversation. Although, I'm not sure if this is archived on the phone or the server, but it's worth a try. You'll have to do this for each individual contact.
